The International Sepsis Forum (ISF) and the Latin American Sepsis Institute (ILAS) would like to welcome everyone to another edition of our joint event: Sepsis 2025 and the XXI International Sepsis Forum. Our previous joint editions in 2013 and 2019 were both a great success! And we are going to repeat that in 2025!
It is a great pleasure to be together again to offer you a high-quality event that brings together physicians, multidisciplinary professionals, researchers, scientists, and students from around the world who are interested in the burden of sepsis and what we can do to prevent avoidable deaths. We are delighted that you choose to join us for this special edition. We will have 10 international speakers and over 70 Brazilian speakers to provide an update on the most relevant aspects of sepsis.
Every year, ILAS organizes the Forum Internacional de Sepse with the aim of changing the sepsis scenario in our country, and this year, together with ISF, this commitment is doubled. We are developing an updated and diverse program focused on the sepsis patient’s trajectory, covering everything from sepsis prevention, recognition, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. There will be three simultaneous sessions, with content ranging from translational and epidemiological topics to clinical aspects for both adult and pediatric/neonatal patients, also emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach.
Our event encourages strong audience participation, and we would like to invite you to take part in the discussions. Interaction is one of our strengths, and you are certainly a key piece in this process. We trust that the venue and scientific sessions will meet your expectations, and we look forward to seeing you!
Welcome!
